This global marketing project brings together an American Beauty brand and its hypothetical launch to Japan. While I claim no rights to any Glossier content or products, I employed Photoshop in order to create invented social media posts to strengthen the company’s “presence in Japan”. I also employed my knowledge of the Japanese language to translate all social media posts when applicable.
These book covers were done as part of a project that reimagines two of Steig Larsson’s novels, The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo and The Girl Who Kicked the Hornet’s Nest. In designing these covers, I drew upon simplistic line drawings and geometric designs in order create what I felt to be reflective of the plots of the novels themselves. All line work hand drawn in Procreate. Final product, including typeface, done in Adobe Illustrator.
